Without seeing your instrument, I can't tell you what the cost will be. For an accurate estimate, please bring your instrument to the shop for inspection.

We try to get every repair out as quickly as possible. Some repairs take a long time, while some can be done relatively quickly.
Most repairs can be out the door in a few days, depending on the repair que. We will give you an estimated completion date when you drop off your instrument.
We DO accept credit and debit cards. However, there will be a processing fee of 3% added to the total transaction cost - no exceptions

We may from time to time be interested in used gear. We only buy guitar related gear! We do not buy band and orchestra equipment - no exceptions. Gear will only be purchased in our Midland - Odessa shop
Yes. We are a legally operating shop in TX.
Repair shops that deal with "physical" items, such as guitars, are required to charge and pay sales tax to the TX state comptroller. That means we are required to charge, and pay sales tax. For our area that is 8.25%
guitar setup, musical instrument repair, and handmade electric guitars are all taxable in Midland and Odessa
At this time, we do not. Of course at some point in the future we may offer this service, right now we are focused on guitar and tube amp repairs.
A setup will ensure that your guitar plays the best it can.
A setup WILL NOT fix fret problems, or a warped neck, or a "bellying" top .
It WILL ensure that your guitar will play the absolute best it is capable of playing.
No. We are a very specialized shop. We do repairs, mods, and custom builds. We do these things well and concentrate on them only.
We can refer you to several teachers in the Midland or Odessa area if you'd like.

The name ToneHead music is actually an off-shoot of co-founder Rick Westall's amp company - ToneHead Amplification. We used the name while we got started, but after 3 years it was time to refine who we are and what we do. It's still Brian and Rick here at Guitar Garage. We still make and sell ToneHead amps. We still make and sell BSC Custom Guitars. We are not a music store in the traditional sense of the word, we are more of a "garage" you take your favorite gear to. Amp garage just didn't have the same ring. Hence,
